Hola! We are Desert Hare Photography, Helen and Robert Johnston. We truly love doing all things related to the art of photography. We are so happy to have you review our work. We feel that photos mark special moments in time such as family connection, graduations, engagements, children, and newborns.

​     Robert (Bob) has been working in healthcare for over 10 years as a respiratory therapist. He works in the NICU along side his beautiful and amazing wife, Helen! (okay, I added that part, lol). He has cared for the tiniest people and their families. He enjoys music, playing guitar, sharpening his skills as a photographer, and assisting during photoshoots. He is my main squeeze and my right hand man!

      I have been a nurse for over 20 years in the NICU where I care for premature infants and new parents. Photography, for me, began at a young age. I used to sneak my mother's film camera and shoot pictures of family members. I fell in love with picture-taking even more when my son was born, over 15 years ago, making him the subject of so many shots. My camera was with me everywhere as I didn't want to miss one milestone. When they say "time flies by", they weren't kidding! I understand how precious time is and feel that images bring back those emotions from a special time in one's life. Photography has provided me with an artistic outlet and a passion to create timeless art in a relaxed and fun session. After all, photography should be natural and fun!
